While I was participating Edinberg festival In U.K, I had chance to share my music with young musicians and people. I encourage students to progress in their skills/techniques/musical knowledge at their own pace. Once the student has a clear understanding of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire and etudes. To make the lesson more engaging, I am flexible in regard to choosing music pieces that a student may want to learn or not. I usually ask a student if they have a piece they would like to learn. If yes, then I will teach that piece for my student. If not, then I can find pieces to get the student interested in learning. Read More

My teaching style is well rounded approach. I teach not only music performance which includes technique, memorization, practice techniques, body mechanics and health, and memorization but also theory, ear training, music history, performance and music business. All my students have opportunity to perform, learn how to audition for local musical theatre productions, how to record and how to prepare for careers in the arts (if they choose). For beginning string student's, I use Essential Elements for Strings and Schroeder method books. Once the student has grasped the basic fundamentals and note reading, I begin to introduce solo repertoire from the Suzuki String method. Along with technical studies and solo repertoire, the student will learn scales ranging from one to four octaves. For beginning piano student's, I use the Bastein Piano series. This method is complete with a method book, solo repertoire, theory studies and scales. Read More
