I ask them to bring any materials they have and will often recommend books and supplemental material I have had success with. I focus my energy on the positive aspects of a students playing while offering feedback to improve their playing abilities even more, while providing a bag of tools for continuous improvement they can use their entire life. I have experience with a wide-range of children and can accommodate a variety of cognitive and emotional needs. However, I do teach all ages. My youngest student was 4, and my oldest was 72. I have been teaching violin since 2017. Every student's musical journey is unique and I work with their individual strengths to help them achieve their goals.
