In a 30 min lesson we do vocal warmups for 10 minutes then work on a song fir 20 minutes.Learning the proper vocal technique. Therefore, I make it a point to set an agenda in each lesson that starts and ends with something fun, and is also predictable so that students know intuitively how to go about their practicing.
