Studied with world renowned distinguished professor Janos Starker and received Master of Music degree in 1984 from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana. I was a member of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra, and a doctoral candidate at the University of Memphis. I worked with South Dakota Symphony, Tupelo Symphony and North Carolina Symphony. I become assistant principal cellist in the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in 1987 and I joined faculty member at the University of Mississippi in 1988. Read More

I am extremely passionate about music and playing my instrument. I received my BA in Viola Performance in 2018 and have been an incredibly active performer and teacher since then. In 2019 I had the pleasure of playing in three different orchestras in Europe and also performed in an intensive summer music festival in Prague, playing in such venues as the Estates Theater and the Rudolfinum, home of the Czech Philharmonic. For 10 years I was concertmaster of the Fresno Philharmonic and have performed as soloist and concertmaster of the Heidelberg Chamber Orchestra touring throughout Europe, Canada and the United States. I moved to the Los Angeles area in 1996 and have been a member for over 20 years of the first violin section of the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra with Placido Domingo as the Artistic Director. Read More
