In highschool I worked with a music mentoring program.  I would travel to local elementary schools and teach children from 2nd to 4th grade violin in small groups.  This cultivated my love of teaching.  Though in college I never had the opportunity to teach privately due to my busy schedule, during breaks I would often give masterclass style lessons to students of my former teacher Michael Bandimere when they were preparing for performances or auditions. My serious musical training began in Russia at the Moscow State Academic Music College named after P.I Tchaikovsky. The eagerness and commitment to perfecting my craft both technically and artistically as a violinist coupled with my passion for promoting Azerbaijan, brought me to the United States of America where I earned my Doctorate degree in violin performance at Temple University (Philadelphia). My travel and performance experiences across Europe, Russia, Azerbaijan, and The United States of America have offered me first-hand exposure to meaningful opportunities to explore and learn a variety of genres and cultures from Azerbaijani Mugham and Russian folklore to western classical music and everything in between while learning from diverse people, cultures, and places. Teaching violin is my greatest passion in life and I have dreamt of teaching since I was very young. I went to Mason Gross for both music education and also for violin performance. I teach strings in public school at East Greenwich and I play in many orchestras in the area. Recently, I have performed with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra and I served as section leader for the Classical Music Festival in Eisenstadt, Austria where we performed in the Haydnsaal and St Stephens Kirchedom in Vienna and these were huge opportunities! I adjust all curriculum based on the needs of their students, in order to play up their strengths and address their flaws.
