I am a musician originally from Mexico, I have performed in Latin america and Europe. I am currently Principal viola with Symphony of the Americas and part of the Con Brio Quartet. Besides teaching and performing in orchestra I am also very active as a recitalist and chamber musician. For beginning students in any genre, I begin with learning songs. Classical, jazz, bluegrass, and rock are more easily understood when you spend time playing the music with someone else.
