I started playing the piano at age 3 and the violin at age 12. I have always been involved in the perfomring arts. I have been teaching for over 25 years. I started teaching when I was in high school. I went to The King's College and majored in Music Education. I have also performed throughout the US and Europe. From there on to the Hartt School and ever since, with a private studio in my home for 20 years and instructing and designing string programs in the Greater Hartford Area including the Hatford Public School System and Hartford Conservatory also within the East Hartford and Glastonbury school systems. From 2018-2019, she was a recording violinist for film and TV composer John Delvento, where she recorded for National Geographic and the Super Bowl. She has also performed with many orchestras, including Curtis Symphony Orchestra, Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra and Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and is an active performer for professional training orchestra Symphony in C located in Camden, NJ. In voice, I let my students' goals guide their lessons. Whether it be stage performance, studio recording or personal satisfaction, I will use a variety of techniques to help them reach their individual goals. In violin and viola, I teach the Suzuki method combined with some contemporary and fun improvisation. I teach theory, but also how to communicate with musicians in general.
