I began my musical journey since before grade school, learning piano and other percussive instruments. I immediately took a strong liking towards music and followed it through all my years in school, learning brass instruments and refining my practices along the way. in 2018, I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Performance. Along with over 4 years of teaching, I've had the experience of touring and performing in various venues around the country and across multiple genres, such as performing with orchestras in Boston Symphony Hall, as well as performing with popular reggae artists in Los Angeles venues. I believe there is no "cookie cutter" method to teaching so I tailor my lessons specifically to each of my students. I have found that having a strong foundation in classical music sets the tone for musical excellence for all styles, regardless of age or musical maturity. From that perspective I like to start all of my students on The Arban's and Herbert L. Clarke Method books for trumpet. As we progress, I will add other method books/repertoire that emphasize what the student wants to learn or to highlight an area the student or I think could use improvement. Read More
