I've continued her teachings of a relaxed, observational form of playing, which basically means that my students learn how to play a brass instrument with the least amount of effort possible with the best sound possible. I like to impart a holistic love of music in my students, without boring them with too much history or theory. My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emphasize a strong practice regiment.
