With intermediate musicians, I tend to seek out anything of interet to the student while incorporating harder repertoire to strengthen musicianship and to continue to peek interest in music. I begin by assessing each student's level, as well as their needs and desires, and then form a plan of action to address those needs. Instrumental lessons usually follow the method book that is selected by their school band director.
