In 2020, I graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor’s in Music Studies. In 2022, I graduated with a Master’s in Music Education. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with musicians of all backgrounds and levels. In 2019 I graduated from UMass Amherst with a BM in Jazz studies and a BS in environmental science. Studying with Eric Berlin (principal trumpet of the Albany Symphony Orchestra) and Jeff Holmes (grammy winning piano and trumpet player) informed my knowledge of trumpet technique and music theory. I think it is important for a musician to have a healthy balance of technical practice and fun practice. Therefore a student will always be encouraged to keep up on their technique routines and scales, but also to make music THEY find rewarding in every practice session. Lots of encouragement and positive feedback and working through the difficult things in a positive manner. For adults I will teach based on you!
