I hold a Master's Degree in Trumpet Performance from Long Island University C.W Post and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education K-12 from Manhattanville College. I am in my third year as the Director of local High School Marching Band as well as a sitting member of the New York State Field Band Conference Executive Council as a Representative. We often forget this with strict practice routines, but enjoying what you do is just as important as anything! I provide each student with an individualized lesson curriculum. Students are given assignments each week and instructed to return the following week with their assignment prepared, such as scales, arpeggios, etudes, and various other fundamental exercises. I am a very dedicated and caring music teacher with 23 years of experience. I have taught students of all ages from early elementary school to senior citizens. All of my NYSSMA participating students have received scores of excellent or outstanding in Grades 1-4, and in the 90's on Levels 5 and 6.
