Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce more advanced method books such as J.B. I am a passionate elementary school music educator who can "technically" play most instruments but trumpet was first in my heart when started playing it in 4th grade! I continued with it growing up and all the way through college where I graduated with a bachelor of science in music education K-12. I am currently in my 7th year of teaching elementary general music, chorus, beginner band. I love working with elementary students during their group lessons for band, however, I also enjoy working on higher level trumpet material for middle or high school students who want to prepare for auditions or improve their playing throughout school or their personal music journey!
