Another thing I like to implement is the breathing gym, which not only helps as a musician but can also assure you having clear lungs! I stay flexible to the individual students' needs. I try to keep the student engaged and ask many questions to help them become their own best teacher. I will give assignments and create goals but also want the student to be self motivated. I will not be overly strict when it comes to practice.
