I had the great pleasure of studying under Allen Vizzutti while completing my degree from the Univeristy of Washington. The program emphasized strong musicianship, discipline, and collaborative performance. After this, Erik continued teaching private lessons in Easton, Pennsylvania, building a studio focused on strong musical fundamentals, confidence, and long-term growth for students. He currently serves as the band director for the homeschool co-op Knowlton Fine Arts, where he leads students in ensemble playing and helps guide their musical development through structured band instruction. After they have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire and etudes for their first recital performance.
