I have been fortunate to perform over 1,800 professional commitments in my career as well as teaching roughly 25 students. My teaching experience began in college. I quickly realized that I most enjoyed helping people on an individual basis. In addition to performing in myriad musical idioms, I have made a career of private teaching, having conducted over 26,000 lessons since 2001. If the students have music from classes in school, I will also assist them with that. I try to keep the lesson light, and enjoyable! I use multiple materials in trianing the students and I also respect the sacrifice of the parents in getting them lessons, so much uf the material is made by me with specific focus on that student. I do use some of the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements Series material cause it is consistent and user friendly.
