I am a professional trumpet player and educator. I am currently an adjunct professor at Richard Stockton University in New Jersey where I teach trumpet and coach a small jazz ensemble. I will give assignments and create goals but also want the student to be self motivated. I will not be overly strict when it comes to practice. I like to have the student approach music with joy and curiosity. I like to keep the learning positive and help the students find their voice within music and find what motivates them intrinsically. For those who have spent some time on their instrument already, we'll work together to come up with a direction and some musical goals to work towards. I began teaching in-home lessons during my first four years of undergrad. After earning my music education degree, I began teaching privately at the Adam's Music Conservatory in Maple Shade, New Jersey.
