From 2016-2018 I taught 15 college students ranging from undeclared freshmen to a 3rd year Physics PhD student. I taught private piano lessons to about 15 students ranging from 3 years old to 38 years old for about 2 years while teaching in the School District of Philadelphia full-time. During my time at Temple University I was in Premier Wind ensembles playing Euphonium and Trombone and performed with the Temple University Diamond Marching Band for 4 years. During my marching band experience I was featured on The Wolf on Wall Street starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Annie starring Jamie Fox, and performed on stage with Fitz and The Tantrums in addition to weekly performances at Lincoln Financial Field Temple University football home games and at the Boca Raton Bowl Game. My vocal methods are rooted in bel canto style with a strong Melocchi technique using standard repertoire from art songs to stage to develop any voice in preparation for various styles of song. My goal is to help my students go from a singer to a vocalist so that they understand their instrument to be able to create any music as needed. As a piano method I draw from the FABER & FABER method books in addition to online repertoire resources from the standard piano literature varying in styles and difficulties from classical to the four chord structures used in many of today's popular songs and arrangements.
