From 2016-2018 I taught 15 college students ranging from undeclared freshmen to a 3rd year Physics PhD student. Moving to Southern California, I began teaching at LAMUSART, an arts school serving the community of East Los Angeles, providing quality and affordable lessons and opportunities to students in the area. My name is Shafer and I just moved from the East Coast this summer. I grew up in the Baltimore area and went attended Temple University in Philadelphia to obtain my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. I continued to live and teach in Title 1 schools for the next 2 years upon my graduation. I also have been a member of the Army Reserve since 2012.
