Depending on the level of the student, there is a sequence over time of method and etude books that I use in my lessons. I also incorporate solo repertoire and encourage my students to take part in activities such as the IMEA Solo and Ensemble Competitions. Regardless of the students ability, teaching fundamentals of the instrument are my priority. I am a Chicago-based freelance Trombonist who recently graduated from DePaul University in 2021. Since I began my college career in Chicago, my professional music career started up simultaneously. Since 2017, I've played in a wide variety of ensembles around town. These ensembles / genres include: Wedding Bands, Jazz, Big Band, Classical, Funk, Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Salsa, Rap, House, Fusion and more. I was born and raised in Florida where I received my Bachelor of Music degree from Florida State University and Master of Music degree from the University of South Florida, where I was also a teaching assistant in the trombone studio and a music appreciation course.
