I have been fortunate to perform over 1,800 professional commitments in my career as well as teaching roughly 25 students. For all students, learning and being comfortable with all scales and keys is an essential fundamental skill I teach. With this in mind, each person's lesson is subjective and progresses according to the student's learning style; a beginning 5 yr old student's lesson will look much different that a beginning 14 yr old student's lesson.
