His performance highlights include solo appearances with the University of British Columbia Chamber Orchestra and recently with the Boston Trombone Octet. I now teach music at the Boston Higashi School for students with Autism. I am still playing my trombone as well as teaching private lessons and I plan to give some recitals next year. I am also pursuing my other interests such as teaching ballroom dance. I also maintained a small lesson studio consisting throughout my time at the University of Iowa. Those lessons were driven heavily by the interests of my students. I had one student trying to prepare for a collegiate music major audition, I had one with interest in becoming a composer, and a more casual student whose ultimate goal was to gain enough skills to lead music in church worship services.
