I make it a point to focus on ear-training and learning to play with their imagination so that students can learn to trust their ear and be a proactive musician rather than reactive. As far adults are concerned, I truly am more interested in what their goals are as far as learning to play the trombone. However, if the student or parent has another book they feel would be better for their growth, I am always open to suggestions. For the past 4 years, I have been at Seton Hall University studying to become proficient in Contemporary Trumpet and to possess solid skills in the collection of all other brass and woodwind instruments in order to teach music.
