Simply put, I love music. I listen to music and make music and teach music in different styles, on different instruments, in different ways. I've recorded and performed on trombone, trumpet, bass, guitar, ukulele, tuba, and more. I've played with symphony orchestras in Carnegie Hall and with rock bands in Brooklyn basements. I typically start without the instrument at first and focus on breathing, posture, and building muscle memory with slide positions. With intermediate to advanced students, I like to focus on the theory/science behind trombone playing. I am a passionate instructor looking to teach my knowledge of trombone to any and all students. In May, 2018 I graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a BA in Music Business. For four years I took lessons with James Erdman, retired Marine Band first chair trombone, and performed in over 4 ensembles every semester.
