I love for each student to leave their lesson excited about the music they create! I am an encouraging teacher, but I help my students set realistic goals (and stretch goals!) that keep them motivated to progress in their musicianship. How our lessons progress really depends on the student in question. If they would like to pursue competitions, I am well equipped to help. If they choose to develop their skills in a lower stakes environment without any competitions, that's also completely fine. Read More

Hey there! I'm a private voice and piano teacher, actor, and singer performing profressionally in both musical theatre and opera. I have both an undergraduate degree in Voice Performance from the University of Colorado (Boulder), and masters degrees in the same from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. I began teaching five years ago with a diverse studio that covered everything from musical theatre to hip hop. I currently teach at a music studio here in Jacksonville, where I have a large studio of private students as well as group music classes for elementary and preschool aged children. I emphasize exploration and curiosity and encourage my students to explore multiple genres of music.
