I have a BA from St. Mary's College and have taught college level courses at Winston-Salem State University, Salem College and NC School of the Arts Community Program. Currently I play solo, in a duo and have four bands in different genres, Jazz, Blues Bluegrass and Praise. If the student loves their instrument and the music that is written for their instrument, they will feel encouraged to practice. I try to pick up on the student's personality and learning styles and make each person's lesson a combination of my teaching styles and what works best for the student.
