While at Harrison High School & Washington Middle school, I implemented an after-school academy for the performing arts, which includes: a dance program, jazz vocals, musical theatre lab, and a Finale writing program which our students use state of the art equipment to write and record their own material. I have also worked with a contemporary community music school in San Diego with a "Rock" Focus, working with elementary and middle school drummers, vocalists, guitarists and pianists to form their own bands.Currently, in addition to teaching privately, I am an Arts Department Substitute Teacher for La Jolla Country Day School, working with both their band and orchestra programs in the Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools.
