Instruments: Piano Saxophone
I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2015 and 2017, I graduated from Peter King College of Music and Muson School of Music with Associate degrees in Saxophone and Piano Performance. I am current in my final semester for grad studies in Jazz and Contemporary Music at Longy School of Music, Cambridge MA. Performing across the globe and styles has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to play with different artists both in Nigeria and Boston MA. Instruments: Saxophone
You need a saxophone teacher if you want to learn the saxophone. You do not want a part time saxophone teacher whose focus is on another instrument. My first saxophone teacher was a fantastic musician. He was a great teacher and performer. I used to go to the lessons so excited. I just wanted to listen to his beautiful saxophone sound. I wanted to listen to him talk about music. Read More

The most rewarding thing about teaching is seeing my students cultivate their love for music, and self-confidence in their sound! In order to best achieve this, the most fundamental understanding is that each student learns and progresses at his or her own pace! With this in mind, I believe the best way to achieve results is to set realistic goals for each lesson - goals that utilize skills practiced in the lesson, yet set the stage for the next lesson are most ideal. Instruments: Piano Saxophone Music
My teaching style revolves from teaching the music, not just the instrument. As a result, even if the student eventually becomes technically unavailable, he/she can still listen to great musical details and appreciate the sound world with depth and understanding. I expect my students to learn more on their own than from myself because I teach the way to learn in addition to the way to play. Students shall express their goals in the short, medium, and long term. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone Clarinet Keyboard
I have been my musical journey on clarinet in the second grade, and I have stuck with it ever since! I then picked up tenor saxophone to play in the jazz big band, and I began my piano journey at the end of high school to diversify my musical knowledge! I have gained a lot of experience playing in the professional music world through playing at Westfield State! From playing in WSU's symphony, to creating my own chamber ensemble, to playing in the jazz big band, to playing in a pit orchestra and even dabbling in chorus and chamber choir, I like to be as musically versatile and explorative as I can! Instruments: Piano Saxophone
Every Saturday morning throughout high school I volunteered my time mentoring young saxophonists just starting out with the instrument. I was surprised, initially, at just how rewarding an experience this turned out to be. But soon I realized just how powerful an experience learning music can be, and how incredible the opportunity is to be able to help people through that experience in a fun and engaging way. Arriving at college I began tutoring part time, during which I honed my teaching skills in a more professional setting. Read More
Instruments: Saxophone Flute Clarinet Piccolo
I have had many students on flute, clarinet and saxophone over the last ten years and even extending back into high school where I often tutored younger students. My methods first focus on self discipline through inspiration and time efficient practice routines. I have found through empirical evidence that a student can learn more in 20 minutes with focused and disciplined practice than they might in 3 hours of unfocused practice. I have had students who fall upon a wide spectrum of musical aspirations, from aspiring professionals to students who simply wish to demystify their band music, and I can form each lesson plan to their specific needs.
