As students progress, I like to introduce solo repertoire and books that are more specific to the instrument that they are learning. For a young 11 year old beginner, homework assignments will begin with the instrument itself, and then eventually Book One of any method book desired. My teaching experience dates back to four years ago when I had completed my AA degree in Music and I had decided to volunteer teaching music to both my old secondary school (high school) and the Barbados Pathfinder Band recruit program which I was a Band member of.
