Navarro is a part of the liberation-oriented free jazz collective, Irreversible Entanglements. After their highly acclaimed self-titled debut album on International Anthem, a second album is due to be released in 2020. Navarro also has a duo project with Brooklyn-based drummer Tcheser Holmes. Currently, my teaching experience involves substituting for a drum class in one of the New York City boroughs, and assisting musicians or other campers when needed at Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts when I worked there as a Music Staff Intern. I have worked with multiple teachers throughout my musical journey and experience, and I have since picked up the teaching styles and methods that they taught me. I have been teaching for 5 years in both private lesson situations and and group lesson situations. I enjoy teaching beginner piano and flute and teaching all levels on the clarinet and saxophones. I have taught in both the classical and jazz idioms. I have taught as young as seven and as old as seventh and I enjoy seeing what curious students bring to the lesson.
