My teaching experience dates back to my school days, as I began teaching private lessons part time ,from 2003,and have been consistently teaching students in my home and at students homes, for the last 10 years. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for the younger students, as it tends to help the student progress. Thanks to my studying of violin teaching methodology,I found that, there’s no ideal formula of teaching violin to everyone, the same way ,as ,there’s no ideal magor or minor scale, for practicing only that technique to achieve the best result, as people have defferent cultural and musical backgrounds, so student should enjoy the lesson and have fun while learning . I loved to teach the younger students as a junior/senior, and helped out with the "morning music" elementary program. I also taught middle school students with special needs how to play the violin when I was a senior, and assisted with after school tutorials. We may not force our children to practice but repetition is key and encouragement is necessary. Violin is not an easy instrument. My teaching experience is quite varied. I've taught young children as a member of Mimi Zweig's pedagogy classes, and I currently teach group classes to 3rd-5th graders here in NYC. I've taught chamber music to teenagers in Indiana University's Summer String Academy and to adult learners in Montreal.
