My teaching experiences have come from my time spent playing in a variety of ensembles in the different colleges that I attended. I was often asked to lead groups in rehearsal and this was where my teaching experiences first began. It started with my colleges Big Band and then with a Saxophone Quartet. Being able to lead a group of musicians and helping them get better everyday was the most fulfilling feeling I got during my time in school and pushed me to try my hand at teaching younger students. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's in Music Education (EC-12). While I was there, I performed with the premier ensembles such as the UTA Jazz Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and the UTA Symphony Orchestra. Music has been my life for so long and it is my passion! I started reading sheet music when I was 4. I started to learn Piano when I was 5. At age 7 I started learning basic Music Theory. At age 10, I began my journey with Flute and I have been playing ever since! I have played with the Arlington Community Orchestra, Flower Mound Philharmonic Orchestra, Flower Mound Flute Choir, TWU Wind Symphony, TWU Flute Choir, TWU Jazz band, TWU Pep band, and recently became a sub for the Mesquite Symphony.  Read More

I worked with younger students in my program who couldn't afford the rates of the professional instructors in the area, so I taught for free to members of our lowest ensemble.
