I graduated with my Bachelors of Music from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. I am currently finishing his Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Lenoir-Rhyne as well. While at Lenoir-Rhyne I was involved in a various amount of ensembles, including the newly reformed Spirit of LR Marching Band where I was the Head Drum Major for three years. I established the Stanton School Afro-Brazilian Drum ensembles, the Orff Ensembles and three choruses. I have also taught at the collegiate level at Eisenhower College for 8 years. I played clarinet with the Auburn Chamber Orchestra and the flute and piano as a soloist for community events, weddings and church services.
