I'm a passionate musician and teacher and would love to be your instructor! My love and experience is primarily in guitar, voice, and piano. I graduated from Gordon college in 2008 with a degree in music education and taught K-8 grade for several years, which included directing children's choirs, teaching private lessons, and teaching general music to many ages. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Alfred's Prep Course Level A which provides strong basic skills in all relevant areas; such as, note reading, rhythm, piano theory etc. I normally advice students to follow Alfred's recommended steps until they reach Level 2. I also tend to be a visual instructor , meaning I like to use tricks to teach students different vocal technique. This requires two important aspects: development of technique/facility on one's instrument, and a sense of acheiving one's personal musical goals.
