I have been teaching students of all ages since high school. While studying at Eastman, I have been responsible for teaching lessons to college-aged students of varying levels and abilities. I have also taught young beginners and older students returning to music. I have previously studied Piano Performance at the Longy School of Music of Bard College, at Cambridge Massachusetts. Throughout my time at Longy, I was awarded prize for the highest GPA in the undergraduate population. I plan every lesson differently based on the student. I first like to see what the students interests are as well as what goals they have in mind that they would like to achieve. For drummers and percussionists, I like to work out of the books, Stick Control and the Alfred method books because I believe that they develop the best technique.
