I am a musician hoping to pass on my passion for music to anyone willing to accept it. In 2019, I graduated from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Business. Music found me in middle school when I started playing saxophone and I realized I had a natural talent for it. I was a men-tee to professional gospel saxophonist, Raymond Boyce, when I lived in Atlanta, Georgia. Read More

Feeling and noticing that there has been gradual success is key to inspiring students to continue with their instrument. I am a passionate 27 year old musician who has decided to start teaching. Music brings a joy and connects people like nothing else in existence, and my goal is to be able to spread that with my students. I had just started a band that would have started playing around Rochester if not for the current situation of the world. Read More

In addition to my private studio, I have been a collegiate music educator training professional musicians. Read More

In 2012, I graduated from the Eastman School of Music with degrees in Viola Performance and from the highly acclaimed Music Education program. My time in school helped me to understand the necessity of properly developing musicianship as well as the technical skills required to play an instrument. This leads to more valuable and enjoyable lessons for the students. Read More

While teaching, I create a very friendly and welcome environment. Comfort between the student and teacher is critical in order to progress with technique and repertoire. I open the floor to questions, concerns and truly want to hear what the students perspectives are. With beginner students, the primary focus is on breath management, developing flexibility between ranges, and applying technique to repertoire. For more advanced singers, I am able to help prepare for auditions or performances and focus more on the quality and control of the voice. Read More
