I use many different books, learning by ear, learning by youtube, learning by rout, and I have developed my own music writing technique which decodes any song at any level to a much easier level because all students are unique, and deserve to have a teacher who can reach them. For Beginning students I have my own book. It focuses on learning a song to play, clapping the rhythm to that song while writing the music notes and making the connections from notes to piano keys. As students progress we incorporate scales, and exercises from such books as Dozen a Day series and learning to compose a song or play a duet with the teacher. Read More
