Then I take the things I don't like about the method and disregard them (pre-established repetoire, no composition or improv). I teach kids how to concentrate, how to teach themselves, how to ignore distractions, and the philosophy for joyful performance without nervousness. I have several different books for Saxophone Students that feature technique, solo repertoire and duets. I graduated with my bachelors degree from Aurora University in May of 2015, and I just completed the first year of my masters degree.
