Dear student, I am a chill 23 year old musician with a lot of experience with acoustic and electronic production and performance. I would love to work with you learning and even recording piano and guitar. I like to spend my time with my friends vibing to music and other things like hiking, video games, and movies. I am very friendly and down to earth. You will definitely enjoy learning from me because of my nice personality and my experience with music. I love playing at open mic nights! Thank you.
EXPERIENCE
I took several college Piano courses, and I have been playing guitar for 12 years. I am pursuing a career as a musician. I know how to play many pop and rock songs on acoustic and electric guitar. I also use the fundamentals of music theory to rock the piano. I have 5 years of electronic and traditional music production experience. I would love to record your songs too! I will encourage you to find the fun from the power of music. I can teach you how to jam by yourself and with other musicians.
METHODS USED
I like to teach at your pace. If you want me to teach you songs, we can learn tabs and chords. Also, I can teach fundamental music theory which includes things like scales so you can solo on your guitar in certain keys of the song. The theory will also tell you which chords you can play, so if someone says play in G minor, you know what notes are the right ones to play. I also can teach you popular guitar and piano licks, so that you can jam on your own and even come up with your own music. I'd love to teach you how to write songs too!
LESSON STYLE
I let the student decide what the lesson is to be like. There are a lot of things to cover, but I will adapt what I think is the best teaching style for the student based on things like what he or she wants to learn. If you are interested in electronic music production, I can even teach lessons in Ableton Live. I am very well versed in all aspects of pro audio and would love to share and teach my knowledge. I hope you choose me to be your teacher, because I am a fun, caring, and responsible teacher.
