Hello future students! I much enjoy sharing my experience as a creative musician to my students whether they are 5 or 55, beginner or advanced. I am a patient teacher and do my best to encourage each student to find themselves as unique learners (musicians) unto themselves. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2002 with a BA focus on Music Composition. For beginner students I start with the basic for both piano and voice. For voice we start with breathing, pitch, and starting a healthy techinque and proper places to sing from. For piano I follow the Alfred's serious and begin with music theory as well. Once my students advance we begin with new solo repertoire and more advance theory and sight reading.
