I have been teaching for the past 10 years in Singapore and the US. In Charleston, SC, I was faculty at the Charleston Academy of Music for almost 6 years.My students range from age 3 to adults, and have won local and state competitions. In 2010 I formed a piano duo, and have since been invited as guest faculty in the Chicago Duo Piano Festival and Charleston Music Teachers' Association. I have performed in Asia, Europe and in the United States and have met many internationally acclaimed pianists and pedagogues, and I bring with me the experiences I have amassed over the years. I began teaching as a junior in high school and have maintained a private studio in Texas for the past 6-1/2 years. I have taught beginning through advanced level students. I like to encourage creativity in the studio; I don't push every student to have the same musical experiences. Outside of school, he has performed in the River Cities Jazz Ensemble, Tommy Money Big Band, Huntington Outdoor Theater, Big Planet Soul, and with many other groups and ensembles.
