I try to make sure students can progress at their own pace based on their own skill level and experience with the instrument. I try to instill diligence patience and not being too hard on yourself as the top priorities. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a student develop the same passion for music that I have. It is very important to me that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting goals at each lesson, by a deadline, etc. Acknowledging accomplisments helps fuel a students desire to progress and makes them eager to learn more. Finding what inspires the student is the best possible way to tailor each lesson to their wants and needs. Read More
