In 2014, I have completed my studies at Boston University, where I completed a PhD in Musicology with a focus on jazz of the 1930s and 1940s. I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music and providing the best music education. I graduated with a BS in Music Ed and enrolled in many piano pedagogy classes. I have taught music education in Harford and Baltimore County Schools and taught band and orchestral instruments. M performances have included concertos, 4 hand music and chamber music. For children older than 6, I generally start with Bastion's Piano Basics because the music is very engaging and the music gradually increases in difficulty.
