I customize each lesson specifically for my students so that they remain satisfied and fulfilled with what they are learning. Each student has different interests and its my job to build a music curriculum around them. I usually encourage my students to have both a method book for fundamental skills, and a performance book with pieces that they want to learn. We will decide this after the first introductory lesson. I am a motivated instructor who enjoys teaching students of all ages. My experience includes playing from memory works by well known classical composers such as Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Debussy. These recitals were before I graduated. My teachers were impressed that I could play these works from memory. I enjoyed practicing for these recitals. Playing the piano was never considered a job for me because I enjoyed it so much. I consider myself very professional in what I do, I love music since I was little since 1993 and all my life I have dedicated it to this beautiful art. I was formed by the orchestra system of Venezuela, to which I dedicated as a student and then as a teacher a large part of my life, going on national and international concert tours. I was in charge for several years of a music school as executive director in San Cristobal, Venezuela, and as musical director of the Adventist orchestra of Venezuela Tachira headquarters (2012-2015). My teaching experience dates back to 8/2015. It was a friend through my father's. Since then, I have been consistently teaching in my home studio for 2 years now. Encouraging regular practice is important to produce consistent results. Although I am classically-inclined, contemporary (modern) music goes a long way in helping students to continue enjoying and learning the piano. Students will also participate in Student Day, and the National Guild of Piano Teachers, etc. Read More

However I also had overcome a medical issue using music so I am also quite proficient in music as medicine. If the students already had books from prior music instructor, we pick up from the last lessons after answering questions t o make sure the students thoroughly understand the lessons from the previous chapters and he or she is ready to proceed to the next lessons. I take the student through reading the roadmap of music: first and second endings, codas, repeat signs, key signatures, Clef signs, DSal coda. dynamics. I introduce the three parts of music: melody, harmony, rhythm. Since ive already discussed melody and counting rhythm I move unto harmony. I go back to the major scale and explain intervals and build chords on the notes of the scale in thirds. I will alter chords with them and construct some interesting chord progressions. Read More
