I have taught private trombone lessons while I was attending University of North Texas and taught trombone and piano for another private music company. I make sure to keep active on my trombone by playing in as many bands as possible and encourage my students to do the same. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more.
