My teaching style is very unique and depends on a lot of factors . I try to connect with my students , become friends and make our lessons fun and at the same time very educational. I dont just teach them how to play piano, flute or sing, but I try to inspire them and let their love for music grow even bigger. I make sure to teach them music theory as well, how to read and write notes, rhythm , tempo, intervals and build foundation before we move to the next level . Read More

I am a voice and piano teacher who especially loves working with children.  I graduated in 2009 with my Bachelor's degree in Music, and I have been singing since I was a young child.  I have worked with children of all ages, teaching various subjects, but music is my absolute favorite thing to teach.  I love performing in recitals and events and watching my students develop a love for performance as well. Teaching has always been a joy to me and I enjoy having children experience the understanding and love of music It is my hope that the student enjoy what they are doing and learning  Should they not understand I try to find out what is difficult  Should I see that a student is not practicing that is a distinguishing factor I have worked with children with learning disabilities as well so I use various methods to attempt to have the child or adult grasp the concepts and be able to perform     Read More

My style is relaxed, making sure not to cause any stress from overpracticing or the worst--teaching in an intimidating tone. I put myself in the students shoes in order to understand what particular skills need to have more attention put towards them. I may seem difficult to tutor through video, so I have earbuds with a boom microphone to ensure I can hear you as clearly as possible and you can hear my voice as clearly also. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music. It's important that each of my students progress at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

For beginning students who are children, I typically start with John Thompson's The Easiest Piano Course, Part1 and I always try to reach Part 4 with the student. After 6 mounts of having lessons with the same kids I am offering them to perform in front of there parents, friends and neighbors. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. Read More

I have been teaching for 9 years and have experience with a wide range of student ages and abilities. Ive had several students stay with me long enough to progress from the very beginning stages of learning piano all the way to a fairly advanced level. I love watching students learn and become better musicians. Many of my students start lessons on one instrument and decide they want to try another (usually piano and guitar) and I encourage this variety! Read More
