For the youngest beginners, my focus is on the enjoyment of music. Using either The Music Tree or My First Piano Adventures, I teach children about the elements of music and how to appreciate music, before going into actual technical work on the piano. After moving to North Carolina she started a Baums Music school, were she teach piano to the class of 50 students. Her students knowledge evaluated through local and state festivals and competitions. Mayas students have won many prizes and rewords at the different levels. Maya was elected as a president of Raleigh Music Club and continues teaching out of a private home studio. After moving to Texas she restarted a Baums Music schools were she teach piano to the class of 25 students and teaches music at the Coppell Conservatory. Read More

I've been teaching guitar for the past 12 years, and more recently bass, ukulele, piano/keys, voice, percussion and studio recording as well.
