I started playing the piano about 25 years ago and I began teaching about12 years ago. I performed in many recitals and guild auditions as a student, and in college I began to perform at Open Mics, at weddings and then dinner music at restaurants. My teaching experience really started With the DC Youth Orchestra Program as a cellist. Assisting the cello teaches with summer sessions. I also assisted at NC A T State University Orchestra. I mentored student teachers with string ensemble. Currently, I am Assistant to the Minister of Music at The Greater First Baptist Church of Washington DC.
