When I was 16, friends and family started asking me to teach them to play and I developed a love for teaching. At college I decided to study piano teaching to become the best teacher possible. I first got into music when I was in elementary school. My first instrument was the upright bass fiddler. This help me learn the notes on the bass clef. I later learned to play trumpet which was the instrument that used to audition to get into the Navy Band.
