Students are encourgaed to learn to read music, with a great emphasis placed upon practical music theory. I aim to develop intellegent musical artists, foscuing upon intrepretation, critical thinking, historical considerations and creativity. I like students to keep a practice notebook which we fill out during the lesson. Rather than being required to practice for a set number of minutes per day, we instead keep track of how many times an exercise or song is practiced.
